Do I need a professional photographer?
No — FestyRoll targets private parties with friends as operators. You can still invite a videographer as director.
Does the party need internet?
Not for the core product: discovery and ingest work on local Wi‑Fi. Cloud is optional for remote hub or backup.
How many phones do I need?
Even 2–3 angles change the reel. The app scales with N operators; the director sees who’s live.
Where is video stored?
Smart capture runs on the phone. Files go to the director’s hub (phone or LAN PC). You control export and deletion.
When does the app launch?
We’re in PoC / early access. Join the waitlist for Android & iOS beta and pilot events.
